Fire and Water Creations, located in Fortune, PEI, is stunning seaglass jewelry made by artisan Teri Hall.  Her story is very touching and compelling and if you have a prized piece of seaglass that you'd like to have made into jewelry, Teri can do it.  

 

Another artisan who makes incredibly creative pieces of seaglass jewelry and original, hand-painted bags is Gail Rhyno, otherwise known as a Maritime Girl.

I often get a big package of smoked salmon (the trimmings) for $3.50 or fresh haddock, scallops, etc.  Yummy for Christmas.

It's a bit difficult to buy local for kid's presents however without a doubt, hands down, our family's favorite kid's store is Owl's Hollow in Charlottetown.  The Balderston's have a super space for kid's, a place my children love to take their birthday or special occasion money and spend an hour picking out the perfect toy.  My 10 year old's all time favorite present is a pogo stick that we bought from there.
