Dont get me wrong, Internet Explorer is a great browser, it is fast and easy to use but because it is part of Windows it can let all kinds of nasty things get onto your system. You have a couple of choices to help remedy the problems it might cause, my pic for all major platforms (Windows, Mac and Linux) is Mozilla Firefox:

Click on the Firefox button above to download.

The great thing about Firefox is that it just works, and works well, because it it does not allow active-x install controls to work, your system will not easily install malicious controls. Firefox also has some other great features such as pop-up blocking and one of the greatest features is tabbed browsing. Try it for yourself, once you have it downloaded and installed, open it up and press the ctrl key and the letter T at the same time (mac folks it is command and T) it will open up a new tab in the same window! no more messy task bar or docks with multiple windows.

Give it a try, and the price is right - Free

Jason
