COLWILL, Clinton

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Clinton at home surrounded by his family. Survived by his beloved wife Jean of 60 years, children Barry (June), Darlene Good (Dave) and Scott (Kim), grandchildren Ryan, Tara (Carlo), Spenser, Kinsey, Myles, Glen and great grandson Logan. Predeceased by grandson Kevin.
Son of the late Athol and Edna (Ramsay) Colwill. A brother to Alice (Urban), Sterling (Bea), Joyce (Ancel), Doreen (Alex), Ernie (Jean), Blanche (Gerry), Carl (Helen) and Ralph who died in infancy. Also survived by sister- in-law Pauline, brother- in- law Clarence and many nieces and nephews.


The death occurred at his home in Mayfield on Wednesday, May 16, 2012, of Edward "PP" Deveaux, age 73.
Edward was the beloved husband of Audrey (nee Gallant); loving father of Michael (Janet Harris), Cindy, Patsy, Pam, Keith (Alice), Kevin (Liselot) and Stacey; and the proud grandfather of Kyle, Colby, Madison and Ryan. He is also survived by his brothers, Lawrence and Beverly; sisters, Marie and Elizabeth; and numerous nieces and nephews. Edward was predeceased by his parents, Vincent and Beatrice (Doiron) Deveaux; brother, Dougie; and sister, Hazel Gallant.
Resting at Central Queen's Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Friday, May 18, 2012, from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church, Hope River on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 10 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery. Due to severe allergies please refrain from wearing scented products.

DJUK, Husein

The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Wednesday, May 16, 2012, of Husein "Bob" Djuk of North Rustico, beloved husband of the late Barbara, age 72.
Bob was the loving father of Sophia Djuk and Adam Djuk (Kim Forwell); and proud grandfather of Jennifer Roper, and Madeleine and Noah Djuk. He was predeceased by his parents, Adam and Ava Djuk, and his wife, Barbara Ann (Dickenson).
There will be no visitation or funeral service by personal request. A celebration of Bob's life will be held at a later date.

DUNN, Edna Theresa

At the Maplewood Manor, Alberton, on Thursday, May 17, 2012, of Edna Theresa Dunn, beloved wife of the late Wilfred Dunn (predeceased 1997) formerly of Alma age 90 years. Born at Alma on July 5, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Theresa (nee Walsh) Kinch. Loving mother to Florence Dunn of Alberton and Clarence (Carolyn) of Alma. Dear grandmother to Eric (Ashley) Allain and Donnie (Lacey) Allain, Jamie, Stephen and Christopher Dunn. Great-grandmother to Keenan and Kenton Allain, Axel Starling. She is also survived by her sister Mae Cameron of Nova Scotia and by her sisters-in-law Mary Kinch of New York and Deloris Dunn of Alberton, as well as her nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Stephen, William and Hilary Kinch. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral on Saturday afternoon from the Sacred Heart Church, Alberton, for funeral mass at 2 p.m. Rev. Michael Painchaud celebrant.

The death occurred at Whisperwood Villa on May 15, 2012 of Helen Elizabeth (Smallman) Hardy, R.N., of Rosebank, P.E.I., and Kanata, Ontario, in her 105th year.
Dear mother of Dr. Roger Hardy, Kanata, Ontario, Hazel (Vincent) MacKenzie, St. Catherines, P.E.I., and Jean (Ernie) Gallant of Cornwall, P.E.I. Loving grandmother of Roger V. Hardy (Jenny) of Vancouver, B.C., Michaela (Derek) Tokarski, Ottawa, Ontario, Grant (Colleen) MacKenzie, Garth (Misty) MacKenzie both of St. Catherines, P.E.I., Greg (Tania) MacKenzie of Stratford, P.E.I., and David (Jenny) Gallant of Charlottetown, P.E.I.; as well as sixteen great-grandchildren.
Helen was the daughter of James P. and Ellen (Horne) Smallman of Knutsford, P.E.I.
Predeceased by husband Frank Hardy and infant son Lloyd and the following brothers and sisters: Eva, Dan, Edith, Hazel, Albert, Arthur, Beecher, Edgar and Margaret.

MACDONALD, Raymond Francis

Suddenly at Toronto, Ontario, on May 6, 2012 of Raymond MacDonald, age 82 years.
Beloved son of the late Sadie and Aeneas MacDonald. He is survived by Mary (Stewart Gill), Lucina (the late Edward Monk), Catherine (Bob Mellen), Lillian (the late Charles Duffy), Gerard MacDonald (Mary Ann), and Michael MacDonald (Gail). He was predeceased by brothers - Cecil (Grace - deceased), Reggie, Merlin, Joe, Peter (Yea - Elsie), George, and Emmett.
A memorial mass will be held at St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Church, Mount Stewart on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 10:30 a.m.

MCINNIS, Mary "Lila" (nee McGrath)

The sweetest wife and mother there ever was passed away peacefully at the Garden Home, Charlottetown on Thursday, May 17, 2012.
Lila was born in Morell on October 26, 1924, in a simpler time. She was raised by loving parents who instilled in her the importance of family values, truth, honesty, integrity, loyalty, compassion and hard work — all of which she held throughout her life. Lila was a warm, caring, loyal and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. All our lives have been profoundly affected by her influence. We are filled with gratitude to have been so fortunate to belong to her. We will forever keep her in our hearts and pay homage to her by living out our lives true to the values and love that she instilled in us.

Peacefully at the Atlantic Baptist Nursing Home on Sunday, May 13, 2012 of Florence "May" Ames of Charlottetown, age 92 years.
Beloved wife of the late Sgt. Frank M. Ames. Loving mother of Christine Weatherbie. Nana to Roderick (Laura) and Neil (Alexandra). Great-grandmother to Vanessa, Melissa, Patrick, Nicholas and Sydney. Sister of Gus Pennington.
