Walter Joseph Arsenault, beloved son of Eddy and Rita Arsenault of St Chrysostome, passed away in Brooklyn, N.Y. on June 2, 2011 at age 63. The family will receive visitors at the Evangeline Funeral Home, Urbainville, on Wednesday, June 22 from 7 to 9 p.m. A private funeral service will follow on Thursday.

BROWN, Guy (Buzz

Age 76, of Fall River, N.S., passed away on June 12, 2011.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Heather (MacPhee) MacLeod Brown; stepchildren, Ken MacLeod (Kim), Fall River, and Jodi Warren (Steve) of Lantz, N.S.; grandchildren, Taylor and Jake Warren and Raylea MacLeod; mother-in-law, Hilda MacPhee, formerly of New Dominion, P.E.I.; his sisters, Margaret and Barbara; and sister-in-law, Ferne (MacPhee) Finlaison, Calgary. He was predeceased by two sisters and two brothers.
Committal has taken place in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Lower Sackville, N.S.
Memorial donations may be made to Children’s Wish of Canada, Nova Scotia Chapter or a charity of choice.

BURNS, Donald Kenneth (Ken)

At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, June 16, 2011, of Donald Kenneth (Ken) Burns of Charlottetown, aged 73 years. Predeceased by his wife Barbara (Breen). Lovingly remembered by his brothers and sisters, Alan (Ellen), Marilyn Diamond (Rollie deceased), Robert (Rosemary), Margaret MacKenzie (Dale) and grandson Colby O'Donnell. Ken is also remembered by Barb's children: Joe, Carol, John and Bobby Mitchell and his 12 nieces and nephews. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home. Funeral Wednesday from the funeral home chapel at 1 p.m. Interment in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Queen Hospital Foundation. Peacefully at her home with her family by her side, on Friday, June 17, 2011, of Emma Leanne Crossman of Murray River, age 15 years.

CUMMINGS, Wayne Douglas

Peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Saturday, June 18, 2011 of Wayne Douglas Cummings of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 50 years. Wayne was born on July 31, 1960 in Goderich, Ont., to his parents Robert "Bob" Cummings and the late Anne (nee Langille) Cummings. Survived by his step-mother Gwen MacDonald and sisters Karen Chaisson of Waverley, N.S. and Sandy (Claude) Marcotte of Kingston, N.S. Also lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews; Sarah, Ben, Ashley-Ann and Corey and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Besides his mother, Wayne was predeceased by his brother-in-law Derek Chaisson. FINCH, Robert Ernest

Peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on his 71st birthday Saturday, June 18, 2011 of Robert Ernest Finch of Summerside , P.E.I.. Bob was born on June 18, 1940 in North Bay, Ont., to his late parents William and Bessie (nee Breary) Finch. Beloved partner of Shirley Allen and loving father of Marty (Cathy Turple) of N.S., Rob (Tara) of Ottawa, Ont., Jason (Michelle) of Alberta and their mother Thelma Gaudet of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by his eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Survived by his brother and sisters Donna (Ron) Dickie, Peter (Carole) Finch and Helen (David) Leslie all of Ontario. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Thursday, June 23, then to St. John the Baptist Church, Miscouche for funeral mass at 1 p.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Peacefully, on June 19, 2011, at the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home, surrounded by family, of Anne Kasycz (nee MacDonald) of Charlottetown and formerly of Glace Bay, Cape Breton, age 60 years.
Beloved wife of Pierre Lapointe and beloved wife of the late Gregory Eugene Clarke Kasycz. Loving mother of Liesha (husband Ganiu Adediran) and Adam Kasycz (wife Amy Lister). Loving grandmother of Hannat and Aaron. Sister of the late Stewart MacDonald.
Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Pius X Church, Charlottetown, on Saturday, June 25, at 10 a.m.
Following the funeral mass, there will be a time of fellowship and remembrance in the MacKenzie Room at the church.

PARKER, Frank Barry "Sam"

At the Prince Edward Home on Monday, June 20, 2011, of Frank Barry “Sam” Parker, Charlottetown, age 87 years.
A veteran of the Second World War, Mr. Parker was a flight lieutenant who was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, serving from 1942 to 1945.
Beloved husband of Vera (nee Rawson). Dear father of Robert (Hannah), Barry (Sally) and Kim (Catherine). Lovingly remembered by his nine grandchildren Joel, Angela, Seth, Rebecca, Amy, Jesse, Ian, Averil and Daniel, and by his great-grandson Declan. Brother of Shirley.
