Loving grandmother of Heather and Kevin (Lisa). Great-grandmother of Colton and Reace. Predeceased by her parents, Hamilton and Sophie (Coles) Horne. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home for visitation Friday, 3-6 p.m. Funeral Saturday from St. John's Anglican Church at 11 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Diabetes Association, or St. John's Anglican Church. JOHNSTON, Ferne M.

The death occurred at the MacMillan Lodge on Saturday, March 6, 2010, of Ferne M. (Milford) Johnston of Charlottetown, formerly of Liverpool, N.S. Beloved mother of Ian (RoseAnn), Hugh (Suzanne) and Pam (Glenn). Grandmother of LeeAnne, Paige, Audrey, Sophie and Jessa. Survived by brother Noel (the late Peggy) Milford and sister-in-law Audrey (the late Carl) Milford, as well as nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents, George and Anna Milford, and brother, Donnie. Ferne was descended from the Milfords of Victoria-by-the-Sea and MacLeods of Bonshaw, P.E.I. She was a graduate of Edgehill and attended Mount Allison University. Ferne was a member of the Confederation Centre and Trinity United Church choirs, as well as a keen bridge player and accomplished real estate professional. The family will receive relatives and friends in the Morrie Room of the MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at 10 a.m. Interment to take place in Liverpool, N.S.

KEEFE, Carl Thomas

The death occurred peacefully on April 20, 2010, at his home in Souris of Carl Thomas Keefe in his 72nd year. Survived by brothers Vernon, Earle, Ivan (Libby), Mervin (Susie) and sister, Shirley, and by sisters-in-law, Jessie Keefe and Diane Keefe, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, John Jack Keefe and Martha (nee MacDonald), brothers, Emmett, Elmer, Johnny, Sterling and sister Noreen, brother-in-law, Clifford MacDonald, and sister-in-law, Helen Keefe. Resting at the Lounge of St. Theresa, The Little Flower, Morell, on Thursday, April 22, 2010, from 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Friday, April 23, 2010, at St. Lawrence O'Toole Church, Green Meadows at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in the parish Cemetery. It is with sadness the family of Harold Raymond Moore announces his sudden passing at his residence in Halifax, on April 15, 2010, at the age of 72 years. Harold was predeceased by his parents, Reuben and Myrna (Hayter) Moore; and brother, Benjamin (Ben). Harold had a kind and generous heart and will be missed and lovingly remembered by his sisters, Ruth (Howard) Hooper, North Bay, ON; and Evola (Frank) MacKenzie, Marathon, ON; and special friend, Stella Martin. Harold is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
