At the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2010, of Irene Mary Arsenault of the Tignish Senior Co-op Home, age 90 Years. Born at Skinners Pond on Oct. 2, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Joseph J. and Beatrice M. (nee Gallant) Arsenault of Skinners Pond, P.E.I. She is survived by sibling's, Howard of Dartmouth, N.S., Ernest of Halifax, Melvina (Edgar) Peters of Tignish, Sylvia Arsenault of Rumford, Maine, LeRoy of Skinners Pond. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Gerry, and by a sister, Emily Gerogianniss. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. By personal request there will be no visitation. A memorial mass will be celebrated at St. Simon and St.Jude's Church Tignish at a time and date to be announced later. Interment later to take place in the church cemetery. If so desired memorial donations to the Tignish Seniors Co-op Home would be gratefully appreciated.
