Peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home on Monday, August 16, 2010, of G. Arnold Burhoe of Ebenezer and formerly of Mt. Herbert, age 86 years. Survived by his loving wife Reta MacDonald and his children Doug (Joanne) Ann Wilson (Bob) Peggy MacKinnon (Brent), Bobby (Joyce), Sharon Fahie (Butch), Joyce Dunphy (Billy), Gordie (Shelley) and Heather Watts (Elwin). Also remembered by Reta's children Norma Jean Williams (Ken), Margaret MacKay (Lyle), Iain MacDonald (Norma Lee) and their families, also by his 20 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Lloyd and Lucy (MacEachern) Burhoe, sister Lyle, infant son Ian and wives Eta (Jenkins) and Marlene Andrews. Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel for visiting hours on Tuesday from 7 to 9 pm and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Completed funeral arrangements to be announced later.
