Peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home on Monday, August 16, 2010, of G. Arnold Burhoe of Ebenezer and formerly of Mt. Herbert, age 86 years.
Survived by his loving wife Reta MacDonald, and his children Doug (Joanne), Ann Wilson (Bob), Peggy MacKinnon (Brent), Bobby (Joyce), Sharon Fahie (Butch), Joyce Dunphy (Billy), Gordie (Shelley) and Heather Watts (Elwin).
Also remembered by Reta's children Norma Jean Williams (Ken), Margaret MacKay ( Lyle), Iain MacDonald (Norma Lee) and their families; also by his 20 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by his parents, Lloyd and Lucy (MacEachern) Burhoe; sister, Lyle; infant son, Ian; and wives, Etta (Jenkins) and Marlene Andrews.
Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel. Funeral Thursday from the Free Church of Scotland, DeSable, at 11 a.m. Interment in Calvin Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Mermaid.
Visiting hours Tuesday, 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
