The unexpected but peaceful death of John J. "Jack" Campbell, age 86, occurred on Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010 at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, P.E.I. Beloved husband of the late Gladys T. (nee Walsh) Campbell and dear father of Dianne (Paul Wansbrough) Campbell, Ronald (Faye Paynter), Colin (Trudy Cheverie), Brian, Stephen, Philip and Craig (Tracey Gallacher). Jack is also survived by his grandchildren Luke and Alexandra Campbell, Anastasia Wansbrough, and Adam and Jake Campbell; his sisters and brother, Helen (Ray) Murnaghan, Anne (Gene) Kenny and Charles (Pauline) Campbell. Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until Tuesday morning then transferred to St. Dunstan's Basilica for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment later in the family plot in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
