The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Sunday, Aug. 22, 2010, of Keith Champion, of Eustane Street, Summerside, aged 82 years. Born in Travellers Rest, he was the son of the late Robert and Loretta (Rayner) Champion. Survived by his children, David Champion, Summerside; Nancy Moore, Charlottetown; Carla Champion (David Keating), Kingsport, NS; grandchildren Joanna Champion, Calgary, AB; Chelsey, Lindsay and Tyler Moore, Charlottetown; and Stella and Abbie Champion-Keating, Kingsport, NS. Predeceased by his wife Mildred (Stewart) Champion R.N.; and his sister Roberta. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Wednesday, where funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Interment in Peoples Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a Charity of your choice would be appreciated.
