Peacefully at the Prince County Hospital Summerside on Sunday Aug. 29, 2010 with her loving family by her side of Marie Phyllis DesRoches Beloved wife and companion of Alfred DesRoches of 122 Dalton Ave. Tignish age 63 years. Born in Greenmount, P.E.I on Sept.4, 1946 she was the daughter of the late Wilfred R.and Sarah Annie (Nee Mackey) Perry. Loving mother to Randy of St. Albert Alberta. Dear sister to Marion (Charles) Bernard and Clarence (Joan) Perry of Nail Pond. She is also survived by uncle Edgar (Noreen) Perry of Alberton, by her aunt Rita Perry of Pleasant View and Ann Marie Perry of Tignish. She will be sadly missed by her neices, nephews, cousins and friends. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home Alberton. 
Visiting hours Tuesday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday noon to time of funeral.
Funeral on Wednesday afternoon Sept.1, from St. Simon and St. Jude's Church Tignish for funeral mass at 3 p.m. Interment in the church cemetery. As an expression of sympathy memorials to the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully appreciated. The Tignish council of the C.W.L will hold prayers for their departed member on Tuesday afternoon at 1:45 p.m. The Tignish Branch #6 of the Royal Canadian Ladies Auxiliary will hold a service of remembrance for their departed member Tuesday evening at 6:45 p.m.
