A proud baker, chef, a lover of life and a friend to many he hopes his courageous battle with terminal brain cancer, assisted by his medical team at the HSC during the past six years, is an inspiration to all.
Born at Baie Verte, NL, Nov. 22, 1970, and after living in Newfoundland and Nova Scotia he found his true home at his beloved Charlottetown, P.E.I., where he spent eight "great and happy years fulfilling a life-time of dreams."

Greg is thankful for the professional care and compassion received from Dr. Gerald Murray and his staff, the oncology team under Drs. Zulfiqar, Laing and McCarthy, the nursing staff on the 5 South and 4 South Floors at the HSC and the medical team at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown, all who contributed so much in giving him six of the happiest years of his life.
Greg will be resting at Moore's Funeral Home, Bay Roberts, with visitation hours on Monday and Tuesday from 2-5 and 7-10 p.m.
A service celebrating his life will be held at the Clarke's Beach United Church at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2010. Cremation to follow at Greg's wish.

"I took the path in life which God chose for me
A path not free of toil and pain, but a path lined with love and happiness
Not marked by wealth or fame, It was the path which I chose for me, the path on which God set me free."
