The death occurred peacefully at the Maplewood Manor, Alberton on Saturday Aug. 14, 2010 surrounded by family of Mary M. Gaudet formerly of St. Louis aged 81 years. Beloved wife of Joseph P. Gaudet of Tignish. She was born in Tignish on January 5, 1929 the daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth (Gallant) LeClair.

Loving grandmother to Danielle, Jenny (Jacob), Christopher and Julie Gaudet, Melanie, Ashley and Brendan Gaudet, Matthew Belinger and LeAnne Millward and great grandmother to Ashley Ashton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Thomas and Elizabeth, daughter Barbara, brothers Edgar and Frank, sisters Gloria and Theresa, sister-in-law Pauline and brothers-in-law LeRoy and Emile. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, Palmer Road for visiting hours Monday 7-9 p.m. for family and Tuesday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. for the public.
