At the Dr. George Dumont Hospital, Moncton, N.B., with her family by her side on Monday, March 1, 2010, of Edna Irene Hiltz, beloved wife of LeRoy Hiltz of Greenmount, P.E.I., age 66 years. Born on Oct. 24, 1943, she was the daughter of Winnifred (nee Rayner) and the late Ernest Getson. Cherished mother to Sharon of Greenmount; Barb (Michael Brouillette) of Ottawa, Ont.; Ramona (Paul) Bradbeer of Ottawa. Loving grandmother to Justin, Lucas and Timothy. Dear sister to Violet Gaudette of Greenmount; Ethel Follington of Simco, Ont.; Florence Hall of Quispamsis, N.B.; Marion Blackburn of Prospect, N.S.; Elsie Blackburn of Greenmount. She is also survived by sisters-in-law Laura Getson of Greenmount, Elva Getson of Tignish, Aldona Rayner of Kildare Capes. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews cousins and friends. She was predeceased by brothers, Norman, Douglas, Sydney and Percy. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton, from where a private family visitation will be held on Thursday evening. Funeral on Friday, March 5, from the Alberton Baptist Church with funeral service at 10:30 a.m. If so desired memorials to a charity of your choice would be gratefully appreciated.
