Peacefully at the Beach Grove Home in Charlottetown on Thursday, August 19, 2010, of Phyllis Aletha Hughes (nee Cowan), in her 82nd year.
She was born in Lower Montague to parents, Leith and Hannah (Clark) Cowan.
Survived by her sister, Frances Cowan, Charlottetown, and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by siblings, Louis, May, Eva, Lucy, Jack, Vera, Irving and Beth.
Cremation has taken place.
Resting at Ferguson's Montague Funeral Home from where a memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday at 2 p.m. Interment in the Lower Montague Cemetery.
No visitation by personal request.
