Peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2010, of Frances Lavers of Imperial St. Kensington, aged 86 years. Born in Kensington on Sept. 20, 1923, daughter of the late Bert and (Sadie) Sarah (Gillis) Kelly. Wife of the late Raymond Lavers. Mother of Jerry (Pat) Lavers, Montreal; Bob (Christine) Lavers, Moncton, N.B.; Lynn ( Brian) Cochrane, Fredericton, N.B.; Jill (Donald) Cousins, Spring Valley, and Jim (Debbie) Lavers, Charlottetown. Grandmother to 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters, Edythe Jones, Alberta Wilson, Ruby Hale and Helen Durant. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass Thursday in the Church of the Holy Family, Kensington, at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Indian River. Members of St. Mary's, Holy Family Parish CWL will hold a Prayer Service in the Funeral Home Wednesday evening at 6:30.
