With family members by her side Agnes left us on Friday, Feb. 19, 2010, to reunite with her Lord and her husband Cyril. She was in her 96th year. Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her children: Winnifred (Robert) Dennis, Helen (Stephen) Hughes, Agnes (Tom) King, Joyce (Tony) Weisz, Maureen (George) Stojanov and Edward. Also left to mourn are brother, Joseph Duffy, sister, Clare Spence, fourteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Winnifred Duffy, her siblings, Mary King, James Duffy, Leo (Patricia) Duffy, and great-granddaughter, Piper Johnson. Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 10:45 on Wednesday morning, then transferred to St. Pius X Church, Charlottetown for funeral mass at 11 a.m. Interment will take place later in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. For those wishing, memorial donations to the charity of your choice wold be appreciated by the family.
