The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by her loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010, of Emma Melvina Noonan (nee Laughlin) of the South Shore Villa, Crapaud and formerly of Linden Ave., Summerside, P.E.I., aged 95 years. Emma was born on Jan. 5, 1915 in Belmont, Lot #16, P.E.I., to her late parents, Peter and Mary (nee Lynch) Laughlin. Beloved wife of the late Raymond Noonan and loving mother of Cathy (Bob) Flower of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by her 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. As the last surviving member of her family, Emma was predeceased by several brothers and sisters, her daughters, Beatrice and Sheila in infancy, her son, Eric, and her daughter, Joyce Arsenault. Following cremation, a Memorial Service will be held at the East Prince Funeral Home Chapel, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside, at a time to be announced later. Interment to take place in St. Peter's Cemetery, Seven Mile Bay, at a later date. By personal request there will be no visiting hours.
