Born in Spring Brook May 2, 1915, daughter of the late Armenius and Geraldine (Arthur) Meek. Wife of the late Archibald Pidgeon. Mother of Bill (Laura) Pidgeon, Spring Brook; Evelyn Woodside, French River; Brenda (Robert) Montgomery, French River; Ruth (Clair) Sudsbury, Summerside; Hilda (Dale) Johnstone, Long River; and Lorne Pidgeon, Centreville, N.S. Grandmother of 20 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Sister of Arnold (Jean) Meek, Spring Brook, and Ruth (Warren) Hession, Vancouver, B.C. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by son-in-law Wayne Woodside, brothers Hillard (Dorothy) Meek, Horace (Elizabeth) Meek, sister Hazel (Roscoe) Walker, brother-in-law Ken (Madge) Pidgeon and sister-in-law Anne (Isaac Jollimore and Elmer Parsons). Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Friday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Thomas Anglican Church Cemetery, Spring Brook.
