The death occurred at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, on Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010, of Harry Edward Taylor of Rosewood Drive, Kensington, aged 91 years. Born in Hamilton April 11, 1919, son of the late Major and Jessie (Morrison) Taylor. Husband of Viola (Allen) Taylor. Father of Allen Taylor (Rick Vanderkooi), Chelton and Ferne (Doug) Profitt, Kensington, and grandfather to Heather Profitt (Scott Goyetche). Brother of Ruth Morrison, brother-in-law of Alma (Keith) Affleck and Marion Allen. Predeceased by infant sister Ruby Taylor, father-in-law and mother-in-law Keir and Alice (MacQuarrie) Allen, brothers-in-law Lyman Morrison and Everett Allen. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Friday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Due to painful arthritis please refrain from shaking hands with Viola. Funeral Saturday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment in People's Cemetery, Malpeque. If so desired, contributions may be made to the P.E.I.
