Lucy Gladys Yeo (nee Campbell) passed away peacefully in Toronto on Saturday, Aug. 28, 2010, at Providence Healthcare Centre in her 83rd year. Formerly from Prince Edward Island, Lucy is lovingly remembered by her children Ernest (Carole), Russell (Margorie), Betty (Walter), Roger (Margie, predeceased), William (Marsha), Jerry (Marylou), Allison (Anna), Carleen, James (Nelanie) and family members Janet, Rose and Karen. Predeceased by sons Carman, Arthur, daughter Lillian (Bea) and husband Carl Yeo. Dear grandmother to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by brothers Wilfred (Bessie), Sterling (Ivy) and sister Ruby (Leigh). Fondly remembered for her smile, generosity and love of family and friends. Till the end, she was looking forward to visiting family on Prince Edward Island and enjoyed socializing with her many children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were the highlight of her day. Lucy will be resting at the Highland Funeral Home, 3280 Sheppard Avenue East, Scarborough, Ontario, (416) 773-0933, on Tuesday, Aug. 31, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, Sept. 1, at 11 a.m. at the Ebenezer United Church, located at 5000 Steeles Avenue East, Markham, Ont., L3R 7B4.
