Hurricane Earl Strikes Eastern P.E.I
High surf, propelled by 70-kilometer-an-hour winds, battered Wood Islands Provincial Park as Hurricane Earl made its way to the shores of Eastern P.E.I.
Strong winds and waves upwards of six feet tall didn’t deter Tom Defusco, left, and Shaun Edward-Smith and a group of their friends from swimming at Panting’s Shore Beach as Hurricane Earl picked up momentum on Saturday.
