The youth from the Little Squirts Daycare in Souris enjoyed a visit from Prince and Bartoya, two miniature ponies from M & M Lucky Hooves, owned by Mary Gallant of Bloomfield in Western PEI. The youth got a chance to pet and brush the horses as well as lead them through an obstacle course around the grounds of the daycare. While M & M Lucky Hooves does frequently take part in these type of activities for youth, much of what the company does is offer therapeutic programs for seniors and children with special needs. Seen here is Riley Jamieson, middle, brushing horse Prince’s mane along with Nina Graebig, right, with Nina’s mom Anni, volunteer with M & M Lucky Hooves, looking on. Riley is the son of April and Trent Jamieson of St Charles.
