Paul Johnston of Montague was one of many who attempted to keep ahead of the snow during a major winter storm which hit the province on Friday, bringing more than 20 centimetres of snow and forecasted wind gusts of up to 80 km/h. Mr Johnston said he figures he shouldn't complain too much about having to clean out his driveway and walkway as it’s only the second time this winter that he’s had to use his snowblower. Schools, government services and many businesses were closed for the day as a result of the bad weather.
