The funeral for the late Keith Edgar Adams, beloved husband of Eva (nee Gaudette) Adams of Alberton, was held on Monday, December 21, 2009, from the Rooney Funeral Home Alberton to the Elmsdale Church of the Nazarene, where funeral service was conducted at 2 p.m. by the Pastor Sheila McCrea MacCallum, who brought words of comfort to the family. The first Scripture reading from Psalm 23 was addressed by Joanne Gaudette. The second Scripture reading from John 14;1-6 was addressed by Patricia Doucette. The message was delivered by Pastor Sheila. During the service Abby Peters rendered three hymns, "How Great Thou Art", "Amazing Grace" and "The God of the Mountain". The organist was Nola Rennie. The honorary pallbearers were Don and Bernice Blanchard, Earl and Mable Matthews, Ernie Adams, Eddie Blanchard, Phillip and Wilhelmina Kenny, Danny MacMillan, Howard and Lillian Waite, Claude Gaudette, Vernon and Catherine Gaudette, Kenneth and Linda Buchanan, Lawson and Florence Adams, Gordon and Lynn Adams, Wyman Milligan, Duane and Lillian Gaudette, Wendell Gallant, Arnold MacDougall, Bill Gillis, Gordon and Ann Champion, Victor Gaudet, Phillip Arsenault, Sylvere Arsenault, Barry Dawson, Arife Feta, Gary and Norma Oliver, Marie Gaudette, Vie Gaudette, Lornie Rodgerson, Peggy and Kenny Broome, Maynard Ramsay, Dale and Barbara Gaudette, Earl and Rena Matthews, Rodney Matthews, Keith and Evoila Peters, Tony Clements, Phyllis Profit. The active pallbearers were Tyler Peters, David Doucette, Alan Gaudet, Richard Ryan, Peter Dubois, Barry Hamilton. The flowerbearers were Verna Ryan, Lorraine Peters, Lynn Dubois, Norma Hamilton, Bernice Gaudette. Interment was in the Sacred Heart Cemetery Alberton with Rev. Michael Painchaud officiating.
