The funeral for Shirley Adams, of Sea View, was held Saturday, February 6, 2010, in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel, Kensington, where the service was conducted at 11 a.m. by Rev. Cathy Pharo and Rev. Linda Berdan. Poems were read by her granddaughter Meghan Meek and her sister Helen Heller. Congregational hymns were "Amazing Grace" and "He Leadeth Me". Pianist was Sheila Harrington. Pallbearers were Leigh Adams, Frankie Bell, Gilbert Bell, Barry Murray, Carl Adams and Floyd Wall. Flowerbearers were Julie MacKay, Marilyn McQuaid, Georgie MacNutt, Barb Ozon and Faye Evans. Interment was in St. Stephen's Anglican Church Cemetery, Irishtown.
