The funeral service for Arnold John Arsenault, beloved husband of Zena (nee Gallant) Arsenault, of Duvar, was held on Saturday July10, 2010, from the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary to St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church, Woodstock, with funeral Mass celebrated at 10:30 am by Rev. Fr. Jacque Rigaud, who proclaimed the Gospel and delivered the homily. The altar servers were Bill Costain, Yvonne Wedge, and Leith Bulger. The first reading was offered by Angela Webb, and the second reading was offered by Sandra MacCollum. The prayers of the faithful were offered by Carmel Arsenault. The Eucharistic ministers were Charlene Perry and Mary Lynch. The music was led by St. Anthony’s Church Choir accompanied by organist Roger Jeffery. The processional hymn was “Amazing Grace”, Psalm was “The Lord Is My Shepherd”,Offertory hymn was “Come To The Waters”, the Communion hymn was “ Taste And See”, Song of Farewell was “May Choirs Of Angels” and the
Recessional hymn was “How Great Thou Art”. The Honorary Pallbearers were Dr. Charles Dewar and Members of the O’Leary Lions and Lioness’ Club. The pallbearers were Arnold’s sons; Roy, Ross, Gary, Roger, Tony, and Glen. The Flower Bearers were Arnold’s grandchildren; Kelly Ann, Kristin, Kevin, Savannah ,and Bianca. The Usher was Lawrence Gallant. Attending the Service was staff of The O’Leary Farmers Coop. Interment followed in the St. Anthony’s parish cemetery.
