The funeral for Louis V. Arsenault of St. Chrysostome was held on Wednesday, December 2, 2009 from the Evangeline Funeral Home to St. Philippe & St. Jacques Church, Egmont Bay, where the funeral mass was celebrated at 11 a.m. by Father Eloi Arsenault assisted by Father Albin Arsenault, Father Eddie Cormier and Deacon Cyrus Gallant. The flowerbearers were Alexis, Alex and Cedric Arsenault and Samuel Landry. The readings were given by Antoinette Arsenault and Lynn Arsenault and the prayers of the faithful were led in by Karyse Arsenault and Chloe Arsenault. The crossbearer was Simone Arsenault and the candlebearers were Jean Paul and Claire Arsenault. The pall was placed by sons Eric and Luc Arsenault. The Moncton Firefighters attended as a group. The Egmont Bay church choir sang under the direction of organist Edmond Gallant. Nicholas Arsenault was accompanied by Angele Arsenault. Interment was in the church cemetery.
