The funeral for Therese M. Arsenault of Summerside, formerly of St. Chrysostome, was held on Friday, Feb. 26, 2010, from the Evangeline Funeral Home to St. Philippe & St. Jacques Church where funeral mass was celebrated at 11 a.m. by Fr. Eloi Arsenault, assisted by Deacon Cyrus Gallant. The urn was carried in by her daughter Dorise Strand. Flower bearers were Jenna Johnston, Elaina Arsenault, Diane Arsenault and Sabrina Campbell. Readings were given by Gloria Johnston and Holly Clark. Cross bearer was Rosalie Coughlin and candle bearers were Leona Brown and Maria Boylan. The Egmont Bay and Mont Carmel church choirs sang under the direction of Amand Arsenault on guitar. Fr. Eloi Arsenault sang "Amazing Grace" and also played the guitar. Interment was in the church cemetery.
