The funeral for Edna M.F. Bourgeois (McKearney) was held Friday, Jan. 29, 2010, from Ferguson's Montague Funeral Home to St. Mary's Church, Montague. The funeral mass was celebrated by Fr. Bob Coady. Her sons, John and Paul Bourgeois, placed the pall on the casket. Elaine Scully and Wanda Woodgate proclaimed the readings. Theresa LaBonte offered prayers of the faithful. The organist was Joan Murchison. The funeral mass was sung by St. Mary's Church choir under the direction of Yvonne Higgins. The entrance hymn was Peace Is Flowing Like A River; psalm response, The Lord Is My Shepherd; offertory hymn, Stay With Us Through The Night; communion hymn, Immaculate Mary; song of farewell, Quietly And Peacefully; and the recessional, Amazing Grace. Altar servers were Howard McInnis, Tony Molloy and Francis Brothers. Pallbearers were Gary Boudreault, Elmer Graham, Steven Bourgeois, Art McKearney, Robert Jackson and Richard Perrot. Flowerbearers were Chantel Ansems, Lisa Jackson, Paula Morrison, Linda Hunter, Caroline Bourgeois, Margo Jackson and Janet McCloskey. Honorary pallbearers were the staff of Riverview Manor, Montague. The Interment took place in St. Mary's Parish Cemetery, Montague.
