The funeral for Doris C. Bryanton of Summerset Manor, Summerside, and formerly of Spring Valley was held Wednesday Feb. 24, 2010, in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel, Kensington, where the service was conducted at 10 a.m. by Wayne Hutchison and Gladys Dickson. The eulogy was given by Faye Coles, Celeste Coles and Wade Bryanton. Congregational hymns were "The Lord My Shepherd Is" and "Abide with Me". Organist was Brenda Cobb. Attending the funeral were members of the Spring Valley Historical Society. Pallbearers were Wade Bryanton, Kevin Bryanton, Mahlon Bryanton, Bayfield Bigelow, Kenneth Graham and Garth Graham. Flower bearers were Luke Bryanton, Lyndon Bryanton, Logan Bryanton, Celeste Coles and Donna Bryanton. Interment was in People's Cemetery, Kensington.
