BYRNE, Kenneth William

The Funeral for Kenneth William Byrne was held on Wednesday, August 1, 2012, from Ferguson-Logan Montague Funeral Home to St. Michael’s Church, Iona, where the Funeral Mass was celebrated by Fr. John Molina. Also present on the Altar was Fr. Art O’Shea.  The Pall was placed on the casket by Bobby Byrne.  The Eucharistic Minister was Sr. Elizabeth Dunn. The Readings were proclaimed  by Glenda Keenan and Jackie Byrne.  Prayers of The Faithful were offered by Jackie Byrne.  The Ushers were Mervin Roche and Joseph Edmonds.  The Altar Servers were Joe Rooney, Joseph Naddy and Clarence Roche.  During the Funeral Mass, the choir sang “Amazing Grace”, “How Great Thou Art”, “The Lord Is My Shepherd”, “I Am Yours Today”, and “Song Of The Angels”.  Soloist, Joan Gleadall sang “May Angels Be Your Guide”.  The Recessional Hymn was “Go In Peace”. 
The Pallbearers were grandsons, Gregory, Jeffery, Cory, Cody, Kirk, Brett Byrne and Boyd and Denver Hawkins.  
The Flower Bearers were grandchildren, Renee Monaghan, Michelle, Jennifer, Ashley, Lindsay, Katelyn, Chelsey, Melissa Byrne and Glenda Keenan.
The Honorary Pallbearers were everyone in attendance.
Among those attending the funeral liturgy were Staff of Medi Care.
The Committal Service took place in St. Michael’s Parish Cemetery, Iona.
