The funeral for Stella Ruth Campbell (MacDonald) was held Monday, November 30, 2009, from Ferguson's Montague Funeral Home to St. Mary's Church, Montague. The funeral mass was celebrated by Fr. Bob Coady. The pall was placed on the casket by daughters, Millie Fedas, Estelle Johnson, Linda Campbell, Joanne Kay and Marilyn Campbell. Altar servers were Tony Molloy, George Jackson, Mike MacLean and Howard McInnis. Bulletins were passed out by grandchildren, Sara O'Connor, Crystal Doyle and Carter Doyle. The readings were proclaimed by son-in-law, Bobby Fedas, and Audrey Yoston. The organist was Con Zaat. The funeral mass was sung by St. Mary's Church Choir. The entrance hymn was Here I Am Lord; responsorial Psalm, The Lord Is My Shepherd; and offertory hymn, Shelter Me O Lord. Music during the communion was Ave Maria, played on the piano by Con Zaat. Song of farewell was Songs Of The Angels. Recessional hymn was How Great Thou Art. Pallbearers were sons Cliff, Vernon, Wayne, Carl and Ian Campbell and son-inlaw Frank Duguay. Flowerbearers were grandchildren, Ellen Campbell, Emily Campbell, Meghan Hicks, Nikki O'Connor, Shanda Collins and Charlene Somers. The committal service took place in St. George's Parish Cemetery.
