The funeral for Janie A. Cole of Margate was held Wednesday, December 9, 2009 in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel, Kensington where the service was conducted at 10 a.m. by Rev. Cathy Pharo. Readings were given by Ron Crozier and Noelle Cole MacEwen. Prayers were offered by John MacRae. Congregational hymns were "Peace in the Valley" and "Softly and Tenderly". The recessional hymn was "The Last Mile of the Way". Organist was Laura Pidgeon. Attending the funeral were staff of Malpeque Bay Credit Union and staff of Cavendish Farms. Pallbearers were David Cole, Randy Cole, Ron Crozier, Wayne Cole, Gary Thibeau and Brian Paynter. Flowerbearers were Susan Murphy, Gail Carr, Matthew Carr, Sherry Wedge, Tyler Brander and Chantelle Milligan. Interment was in St. Thomas Anglican Church Cemetery, Spring Brook.
