The funeral for Theresa Ada Costain, beloved wife of Glen Costain, of Glenwood, formerly of St. Lawrence, was held Wednesday, December 2, 2009, from the Ferguson Funeral Chapel, O'Leary, at 1:30 p.m., with Robert McIllwaine officiating. Her son, Ross Costain, on behalf of the family, offered the words of remembrance. The congregational hymns were: Farewell, What A Friend We Have In Jesus, Softly And Tenderly, and Blessed Assurance. Honorary pallbearers were Claude Ellsworth, Linda Costain, Johnny and Frances Ellsworth and Kerry Ellsworth. Pallbearers were Chet Ellsworth, Emmanuel Costain, Jeremy Cairns, Dale Costain, R.J. Costain and Louis Perry. Flowerbearers were Connor Costain, Gavin Costain, Hannah MacKenzie, Rebecca Cairns, Allison MacNeill, John Robert Cairns, Sheena Costain and Shannon Seabrooks. Interment followed in the Miminegash United Church Cemetery. In attendance were representatives of the Margaret Stewart Ellis Home.
