The funeral for Rev. Cletus Dollinger was held Friday, Jan. 8, 2010, at St. James Church, Georgetown. The funeral mass was celebrated by Bishop Richard Grecco and the co-celebrants were Fr. Brendon Gallant and Fr. James Willick. The funeral mass was sung by various choirs under the direction of Claudia Batchilder. The organist was Kevin Gotell. The hymns were: Holy God We Praise Thy Name, Kyrie, Yahweh I Know You Are Near, Like A Shepherd, Agnus Dei, Gift Of Finest Wheat, O Sanctissima, Songs Of The Angels, and Peace Is Flowing Like A River. The priests in attendance sang Salve Regina. Clara Anne Lavandier and Kevin Gotell proclaimed the readings. Rosemary Batchilder offered prayers of the faithful. Altar servers were Wilfred McQuillan and Robin Eagles. Gift bearers were Peter and Leona Campbell and Noreen MacPherson. Pallbearers were John Walsh, George MacPherson, Allan Gallant, Lewis Lavandier, Sid McMullan and Hal Publicover. Committal took place in St. James Parish Cemetery.
