The funeral for James Patrick Dorsey was held Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2010, from Belvedere Funeral Home to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer where the mass was presided over by Father Jacques Rigaud, who also proclaimed the Gospel and delivered the homily. The pall was placed by daughters-in-law, Oriette Dorsey, Paula Dorsey, Connie Dorsey and Kimberly Dorsey. The readings were proclaimed by Mary Lynn LeMay and Allyson McCarron. Inge Dorsey led the assembly in the prayers of intercession. Organist was Gary Cudmore. During the mass, the church choir, under the direction of Mary Jenkins, led the assembly in singing Be Not Afraid, The Lord Is My Shepherd, All That I Am, I Am The Bread Of Life and Peace Is Flowing Like A River. Pallbearers were sons and daughter, James Dorsey, David Dorsey, Paul Dorsey, Mary Lynn LeMay, Michael Dorsey; and nephew, Patrick Dorsey. Interment will take place later in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
