The funeral for Raymond "Bud" Foster was held Tuesday, December 1, 2009, from the Cutcliffe Funeral Home Chapel. The service was conducted by Reverend Joy Noble. She was assisted by Melanie Kirk. Words of remembrance were given by his grandson, Shawn Blunston. During the service, the hymns, Amazing Grace and In The Garden, were sung by Donna and Lorna Thompson. They were accompanied by organist Leslie Hiscott. Pallbearers were friends, Gordon Rogers, Harvey Treby, Philip Coyle, Tupper Willet, Kermit MacDonald and Dave Palmer. Flowerbearers were grandson, Trevor Foster; granddaughter, Tracy Foster; niece, Linda Ellis; and grandson, Shawn Blunston. The interment took place in the family plot in the Central United Church Cemetery, Dunstaffnage. Among those attending the funeral service were representatives of P.E.I. Antique Car Club and Island Vintage Cruisers.
