The funeral for Frances Mae Gamble was held Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2010, from Belvedere Funeral Home Chapel where the service was conducted by Matt McGonnell and Ben Foreman. The organist was Helen MacRae. The hymns sung were: What A Friend We Have In Jesus, Wonderful Words Of Life, The Old Rugged Cross and In The Sweet By And By. Pallbearers were Friend Herring, Donnie Reeves, Harold Frizzell, Wayne Carew, Merrill Carew and Jamie Carew. Interment took place in Tryon People's Cemetery. Those attending the funeral service included staff and volunteers from Prince Edward Home and staff of Geneva Villa.
