The funeral for Lloyd George Gamble, beloved husband of Diane Gamble, of Alaska, was held on Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2009, from Ferguson's Funeral Chapel, O'Leary at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Ewen Moase officiating. The scripture readings were Ecclesiastes 3:1-15, Psalm 23, and 1 Corinthians 15 (selected verses). Johnny Fitzgerald sang "In the Garden", "Amazing Grace" and "The Last Mile of the Way". The honorary pallbearers were Norman Allen and Dennis Gallant. The pallbearers were Joey Adams, Dwayne Shaw, Greg Bridges, Kyle Gamble, Danny Adams, and Jamie Arsenault. The flowerbearers were Crystal Gamble, Randy Gamble, Angie Arsenault, and Melissa Gillis. Interment followed in the West Devon United Cemetery.
