The funeral for the late Francis Arthur Gaudet beloved husband of Edna( nee Harper) Gaudet of Maple Street Tignish was held on Tuesday July 13,2010 from the Rooney Funeral Home Alberton to St. Simon and St. Judes Church Tignish, where mass of con celebration was celebrated at 2:00 pm by the Chief celebrant Rev. James Willick. The co celebrants were Rev. Eddie Cormier and Rev. Albin Arsenault. The homily was delivered by Rev. James Willick who also had the prayers of final commendation and fairwell. The first reading was addressed by granddaughter Chelsey Gaudette. The second reading was addressed by granddaughter Tasha Ashley. The prayers of the faithfull were
invited by grandson Trevor Gaudet. The eucharistic minister was Anne Gaudet.
The crucifer was George Doucette and the candle bearers were Joseph DesRoches and Charles Bernard. The altar server was James Hogan. The choir was under the direction of Diane Handrahan and the choir was under the direction on the cantor Vincent Doucette. The entrance hymn was Here I am
Lord. The psalm was The Lord is My Shepherd. The offertory hymn was Amazing Grace. The communion hymn was Hail Holy Queen The Ocean Star. Following communion, Arnie Gaudet accompanied by Blair and Marcella Gaudet rendered " Ready to Go Home ".The song of fairwell was Songs of the Angels. The
