The funeral for Freda Ilene Gee was held Friday, August 6, 2010, from Belvedere Funeral Home Chapel where Barbara Cairns conducted the service. The organist was Helen MacRae. During the service, Rosemary Vigeant sang How Great Thou Art. The congregational hymns were Morning Has Broken and Amazing Grace. The recessional, Just A Closer Walk With Thee, was played by Helen MacRae. Moments of reflection were shared by son, Derek Gee, and granddaughter, Stephanie Gee. The Scriptures were read by daughters-in-law, Linda Gee and Suzanne Gee. The pallbearers were Aaron Gee, Jason Gee, Robert MacLauchlan, Garnet Taylor, Leigh Crabbe, Ivan Bordage, Mike Chaloner and Jim Feltham. Flowerbearers were Amanda Gee, Stephanie Gee, Erica Gee, Rebecca Gee and Megan Gee. Interment took place in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Those attending the funeral service included staff of Service Canada and staff of Public Works.
