The funeral for Betty Gordon was held Saturday, December 5, 2009, from the MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel to Calvary Church where the service was conducted by Rev. Phil Taylor and Rev. George Power. Words of remembrance were given by Millie Gencheff MacKinnon. Soloist, Dino Dunsford, sang Lord, I Am Not Worthy To Sit At Your Table and Go Rest High On That Mountain. Margaret MacKenzie sang A Meeting In The Air. Congregational hymns were In The Garden, Amazing Grace, How Great Thou Art, He Touched Me and I'll Fly Away. Organist was

Honorary pallbearers were Cathy MacKinnon, Ian Toole, Mary MacDonald, Mahine Saffary, Pam MacNevin, Darrell MacNevin, Pauline Smith, Cathy Pesa, Rollie Smith, Brenda Toole, Brenda Howatt, David Howatt, Mary Mills, Gary Mills and Ida Williams. Pallbearers were Allan Shaw, Mark Stevenson, Michael Weir, Bobby Stevenson, David Weir and Will Hambly. Flowerbearers were Nathan Carter, James Gordon, Kara Anderson, Alana Daley, Brady Anderson and Bethany Gordon. Interment took place in Winsloe North Cemetery, where the hymn Joy To The World was sung.
