The largely attended funeral for the late Edna Irene Hiltz, beloved wife of LeRoy Hiltz, was held on Friday, March 5, 2010, from the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton, to the Alberton Baptist Church where funeral service was conducted at 10:30 a.m. by Terry Brink, assisted by Rev. Danny Sentner. Words of remembrance were delivered by the following family members: son-in-law Paul Bradbeer, daughter Remona, daughter Sharon (read by niece Lois Gaudet), daughter Barbara and grandsons Justin, Lucas and Timothy. Congregational hymns were "Love Lifted Me" and "How Great Thou Art". Pianist was Lori Gard. During the service soloist Lori Gard rendered "Heaven Came Down" The urn bearer was son-in-law Paul Bradbeer. Honorary pallbearers were Michael Brouillette, Justin Campos, Lucas Compos, Timothy Campos and Ivan Clow. Usher was Archie Rayner and parking attendants were Lowell Barbour and Lorne Getson. Interment was in the Greenmount Church of Christ Cemetery with Terry Brink officiating.
