The funeral service for Edward Neil Huckerby was held Friday, Feb. 12, 2010, from Ferguson's Montague Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Sheila Mallory conducted the service. Words of remembrance were given by his aunt, Lil Utman. During the service, Leith and Evy Lou McCarron and Marion Bruce sang Be Still My Soul and Sitting At The Feet Of Jesus. Pallbearers were Rick Campbell, Jack MacLeod, Clair Crawford, Allen Mair, Lorne Cudmore and Dennis Martell. The committal took place in St. David's United Cemetery, Georgetown.
