The funeral for E. Carl Hunter of Indian River was held Saturday, March 6, 2010, in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel, Kensington, where service was conducted at 10:30 a.m. by Rev. Anne Dalziel Singer. Congregational Hymns were "Precious Lord Take My Hand" and "Softly and Tenderly". Organist was Bonnie LaFrance. Attending the funeral were staff of Hunter Farms and representatives of Green Diamond Equipment. Pallbearers were George Riley, Glenn Tuplin, Allison Green, Kent Clark, Willis Burgoyne and Darren Cousins. Flowerbearers were Matthew Hunter, Lydia Hunter, Sandra Graham, Paula Champion, Margaret Simmons, Bonnie Pickering, Eileen Jay and Donna Chappell. Interment was in People's Cemetery, Malpeque.
