The funeral for Marion Christina Jay was held Thursday, December 24, 2009, from the MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel to Zion Presbyterian Church where the service was conducted by Rev. Dr. Gordon Matheson and Rev. Douglas Rollwage. During the service Rev. Douglas Rollwage sang Precious Lord Take My Hand. Congregational hymns were Beautiful Isle Of Somewhere and Softly And Tenderly. Organist was Ruth Ann Read-Clay. In attendance was staff of DVA - Audit and Evaluation. Pallbearers were grandsons, Connor Jay, Cory Jay, Nevin Jay, Nicholas Jay, Spencer Jay and Dean Shaw. Flowerbearers were granddaughters, Carlie Jay, Khrista Jay, Keri Jay, Michelle Jay, Nevada Jay and Trena Shaw. Interment took place in Sherwood Cemetery.
