The funeral service for John "Kenneth" King was held Monday, November 30, 2009, from Ferguson's Montague Funeral Home Chapel. The service was conducted by Pastor Mark Reeves. During the service, Alan Keoughan and Sharon King sang Amazing Grace. Alan Keoughan also sang Song Of Peter. The recessional music was Seven Spanish Angels. Pallbearers were Billy Hicken, Barry Haneveld, Greg Myers, Bobby Boehner; son, Jeff King; and son-in-law, Fadi Rashed. Flowerbearers were Cody Koke, Gary Jeffery and Jack Garnhum. Among those attending the service were members of the Lower Montague Women's Institute, staff of Montague Branch Access P.E.I. and staff of Montague Housing Authority. The interment took place in the Lower Montague Cemetery.
