LECLAIR, Ronald Albert

The funeral mass for Ronald A. LeClair of Charlottetown was held Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010, from the Charlottetown Funeral Home to St. Pius X Church where the funeral mass was celebrated by Reverend Keith Kennific, who also delivered the homily. Niece Melanie Bartlett proclaimed the first reading and niece Lori MacDonald proclaimed the second reading. Nephew John Walsh offered the prayers of intercession. The funeral mass was sung by the parish funeral choir under the direction of Eileen Flanagan. The organist was Karen Power. During the funeral mass, the choir sang the processional hymn, Be Not Afraid; the offertory hymn, Something Which Is Known; the communion hymn, For Those Tears I Died; and the recessional hymn, How Great Thou Art. Pallbearers were Don Doyle, Donnie Lund, Gary Gormley, Wilfred Smith, Ernest Walsh and Ernest Scott. Attending were former employees of Canada Packers and Sisters of the Congregations of Notre Dame and St. Martha. The interment will take place later in the family plot in the Roman Catholic Cemetery.
