The funeral for Wesley Francis MacArthur of Glenwood, beloved husband of Helen (nee Dumville), was held Saturday, December 5, 2009, in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel, O'Leary, at 11 a.m. with service conducted by Rev. Ewen Moase. The choir, under the direction of organist, Roger Jeffery, sang We Are Going Down The Valley, Safe In The Arms and The Last Mile Of The Day. Everyone in attendance was considered to be an honorary pallbearer. Pallbearers were Orin Mac-Callum, Billy Hart, Leigh Adams, Glen Betts, Jimmie McKie and Rodney Ellis.

Flowerbearers were grandchildren, Vanessa MacArthur, Jessica MacArthur, Andrew MacArthur and Courtney MacArthur. In attendance was Robert Henderson, MLA. Interment followed in the Glenwood United Church Cemetery.
